Mossbourne Fobbing Academy Sets Sail with a Showstopping Production of Anything Goes!

Mossbourne Fobbing Academy has once again proven that there’s no cure like showbiz with this year’s spectacular Performing Arts production of Anything Goes! The 1934 classic, packed with toe-tapping tunes and a heart-warming story, was brought to life by an outstanding cast and crew, making this one of the academy’s most dazzling performances to date.

From the moment the curtain rose to the final triumphant bow, the cast shone with boundless energy, charm, and talent. A special round of applause goes to our “little ones” who bravely stepped up to take on the lead roles – proving that age is no barrier to star quality! Each performer took to the stage with confidence and flair, wowing the audience with their powerhouse vocals, dynamic dance moves, and flawless comedic timing. The talent on display was nothing short of West End-worthy, and we could not be prouder!

Of course, no production sails smoothly without the dedication of an incredible team behind the scenes. Huge thanks go to our hard-working production team, sound and lighting engineers, stage and set designers, and everyone who played a part in making this show a resounding success. Your commitment and creativity ensured that every scene, every note, and every laugh landed perfectly.

The story of Anything Goes is one of friendship and fun – and that spirit was evident both on and off stage. The cast and crew formed a tight-knit team, supporting each other throughout the entire process and truly embodying the joy that the show celebrates. Watching them perform, it was clear that they were not just putting on a show – they were having the time of their lives! And judging by the enthusiastic applause, the audience had just as much fun watching as the performers did putting it together.

To all our incredible Year 7 students who made their MFA stage debut – welcome aboard! This is just the beginning of your Performing Arts journey, and we can’t wait to see you take on many more roles in the years to come.
